Dutch police announced today that they busted a gang which – at least – robbed a company for 215,000 Euro by Phishing. These internet criminals sent false e-mail messages to people and seduced them, through a hyperlink, to go to a fake bank website and enter credentials. With the entered credentials this bunch of crooks could quite easily transfer large sums of money.
Human factor
We admit, the e-mails these cybercriminals sent out are almost more realistic than original e-mail messages from your bank.
