InsignIT now better consults customers on licensing solutions as a result of Quexcel cloud and licensing training

InsignIT is a Dutch multi-vendor IT partner specialized in design, supply and management of high-available IT Infrastructures with Workspace, Security, Cloud, Datacenter and Managed Services solutions. With increased complexity and continuous changes in Microsoft cloud solutions and licensing options they felt they needed more knowledge to be able to better consult their customers. With the Quexcel in-house cloud and licensing training and accompanying support they are now able to better help their customers with smart, cost saving and compliant licensing solutions.

Licensing it top-level sports

In modern times, there is no ‘one fits all’ IT solution. On-premises IT, cloud computing and all sorts of hybrid IT Infrastructures with an increased demand for more productivity for employees demand a different approach than just a few years back. Competitive advantage
Leon Wijnhoven acknowledges that with the proper licensing knowledge they also have an advantage over their competitors. Customer prefer an IT Partner with proven, solid knowledge over a supplier which hasn’t.
Because InsignIT consults on and supplies on-premises, cloud and hybrid solutions and have their own datacenter solution, they needed knowledge about various Microsoft licensing solutions. “Indeed”, Leon Wijnhoven says. “Quexcel was able to provide a tailor made training which covered Volume Licensing, the Cloud Solution Provider Program as well as the Service Provider License Agreement. We need all of those programs in our day-2-day business.”

Crystal clear curriculum
One benefit from an in-house training is the possibility to discuss InsignIT specific customer cases. With that, the licensing materials are better remembered by trainees. Leon Wijnhoven: “True, but also the way the material is presented helps. Instead of legal texts and terminology, the training material is presented crystal clear with a lot of graphics and a logical structure. Also the periodic questions, especially those with a catch really are helpful. This makes the curriculum remembered.”

Above ‘just a licensing training’
According to Leon Wijnhoven there is more than just a training. “It is good to have a partner to team with. We can use some Power of Knowledge to help us out with very complex designs for our customers, or simply to get a quick and proper answer on a customers licensing question. With that we are glad we team with Quexcel.
